Her daughter sees a crazy mother playing the piano
Elaine Lebar, 92, has been battling progressive dementia for the past 11 years.
Elaine, who lives on her own at Keystone Place in Buzzard Bay, Massachusetts, can’t help but notice some of her daily routines.
But one of Elaine’s independent tasks is to get her to sit at the piano.
Over the past two years, daughter Randi Lebar, 63, has been recording the heart-warming moments her mother sits, or stands when she prefers, at a piano, and despite the slow progression of dementia and a lack of a short-term memory, is able to play beautiful classic music, from Chopin to Beethoven, flawlessly.
