Helping the Helpless in the Society

This is a place where Elissa Darvey holds funerals for abandoned children. Elissa is one of ten extraordinary women being honored this year by royal palaces women of worth as celebration of those making differences in their community. Over the past seventeen years, Elissa has provided decent burials for 298 abandoned and unidentified children.

Each child is given a monument by monument builders who donate their time to give each child a new name, that they never had, an indication that they once lived. Elissa works with Corners offices nationwide to claim unidentified bodies. After that she liases with the local cemetery and mortuaries to donate areas of space for the burial. The burial ceremonies to give a final farewell are open to everyone who wishes to attend.

Everyone in attendance forms a circle around the garden and the honor casket of the child is passed around from one person to another. This is an indication that they touched the heart of the child and the child touched theirs. Please SHARE in Facebook.
