Love Bags Turn Into God’s Connection Transition

After a local sanitary man noticed homeless people sleeping in and around trash, he decided it was time to do something. Arnold Harvey and his wife Theresa created ‘Love Bags’ that contained peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, snacks, and hot coffee and chocolate.

This idea grew into a non for profit organization called God’s Connection Transition that is designed to give homeless people and low income families more than what can just fit into a bag. They are able to come into the warehouse and get what they need, such as blankets and clothing.

The couple also realizes that the only way for people to get out of the situation that they are in is for job training. In order to get people skills, they have programs that offer administration skills, as well as training for welding, electricians, and general trade skills.
