Farmers Help Bucks Stuck In A Barbed Wire Fence

These days, a video from New Zealand, captured over two years ago in Blenheim, New Zealand, is spreading on the web again.

In it, two farmers came to the rescue for bucks, who accidentally tangled in a barbed wire fence with their antlers.

Farmers Jim Burrows and Richard Gorman encountered a special scene on Gorman’s property in the Awatere Valley. There, two adult bucks got entangled with antlers, and the farmers immediately began to rescue them.

They used a wire cutter to rescue them, and first they managed to rescue one buck. Shortly after, the second was saved.

Experts say the animals most likely got tangled up during a fight that is very common during the mating season. See how two farmers saved two helpless bucks!
