The father-daughter bond is the purest and strongest bond between human beings. Fathers are everyday heroes to their daughters and little girls are their fathers’ princesses. Mike Hanley has been blessed with three adorable daughters by his wife, Beth.
One of the daughters, Jessica and her father put on an amazing dance performance during her snowshoe mitzvah. None of the guests really expected a show on this special day. The performance started with the perfect song “My Girl” by The Temptations. They couldn’t have chosen a more fitting tone for that first dance, don’t you agree?
As soon as the music started, the real surprise unfolded before the eyes of the guests. When they started singing, the song suddenly changed, and Mike pretended to be surprised by this priceless key. Instead of slowing down, the father-daughter duo have already hit the ground running with “Want to Dance?” of Whitney Houston? fill the air.
Jessica is a hellish dancer herself. I crafted a well-crafted dance routine using a mix of some of the top hits like Lo Biga’s “Mambo No. 5”, LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anchem”, Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back” and “Poker Face” by Lady Gaga. The dance ended with the first song, “My Girl”. Needless to say, everyone enjoyed watching the girl’s incredible performance.
Mike did the same for his other daughter, Isabel, two years later, but this time they chose different music and bragged about their rapping skills.
Mike is a stand-up comedian who has performed at various comedy clubs, malls, department stores, and even a hospital psychiatric ward. However, after the birth of his first daughter, he took a break from his career and devoted all his time to raising his daughters. But in 2011, he is back in comedy to entertain people across the country. He got all the support from his ladies who have always been his number one priority.
