US Navy SEAL Dave Woodruff has spent the past eight months deployed overseas in Spain. He left home to serve in the army for the past two years and has been sorely missing his family.
When he heard that his spread in Spain would end a little earlier, he decided he wanted to surprise them in a big way.
So he teamed up with a group of comrades back home to complete a top-secret mission.
His parents were attending a church service at Christ the King Church in Deville, New Jersey, completely unaware that their son was sitting in his car in the parking lot as they sat with the congregants.
The pastor was leading everyone in worship, and as the devotees stood and praised the Lord, the pastor told the members “We have a little reward before we drive everyone out.”
