In one of the last episodes, a group of women were chatting and Kaitlyn decided to talk openly about her family. She told the group that despite being a transgender woman, her family still calls her “dad”.
She explained that her children still call him her father because of a statement she made to Kendall a few years ago. When I asked Kendall Caitlin, she said she would always be his father until the day he died.
Caitlyn went on to explain that her kids really impressed her when she used the word “dad” in a sentence and correctly changed the pronoun to “her” for Caitlyn. She admitted that changing can be difficult, but she is always shocked when her children make the change when talking about their father.
Caitlyn would never want there to be a time when her children felt uncomfortable or embarrassed during the time in their lives when she was Bruce. She said it was Bruce who raised them and Caitlin is now enjoying life with the kids.
Caitlin is currently the father of six children. Cassandra and Burt, 39 and 41, are the children of his first wife, Kristi Jenner. Brody and Brandon, 36 and 38, are the children of Linda Thompson. Kris Jenner, Caitlyn’s last wife, is the mother of Kris and Kylie Jenner.
By the end of the year, Kaitlyn will be a grandmother to 20 grandchildren. Caitlin shared what she would name these children. She revealed that the children came up with the name “Boom Boom”. She said the nickname stuck and it was easy for them to say that.
