Everything the elephant Raju has known in his 50 years of life was pain and suffering caused by humans. But another group of humans will soon change all of that.
It’s Raju. He lived in India where he survived garbage and whatever the tourists gave him.
This is when the North London-based charity Wildlife SOS moved in. This rescue put Raju in tears.
A sad thing to see
They feared that Raju’s owner might flee the scene. He even tried to prevent the rescue by shouting to try to scare Raju.
But Wildlife SOS has not given up. “We held on and refused to back down – and in doing so, tears began to roll down Raju’s face.”
He would now spend the rest of his life free from pain and agony.
We all thank Wildlife SOS for the great rescue of Raju. A sad story but with a tremendous ending.
