In a recent interview with Esquire Spain, John Travolta recounted a magical moment he shared with Princess Diana back in the 1980s. As he explained, the experience was like a dream, with the whole scene taking place at midnight in the White House. Travolta asked Princess Diana to dance, and when she turned around and smiled at him, he felt like he was in a fairy tale.

While the dance itself was fun and easy for Travolta, he admitted that introducing himself to Diana and asking her to be his partner was a bit nerve-wracking. Nevertheless, he described it as a great privilege and honor and acknowledged how fortunate he was to have experienced such a special moment.

The dance between John Travolta and Princess Diana was a major moment not just for the two of them, but for the world. At the time, Diana was one of the most famous people on the planet, having just given birth to her second child with Prince Charles.

The event was held in honor of the then-Prince and Princess of Wales’ first trip together to the United States, and it left a lasting impression on everyone who witnessed it.
