The unlucky animal found itself in the water, unable to reach land. This is why the kayakers came to their aid and filmed the entire rescue operation on camera.
The scene was shot on the Candigliano River near San Marino in Italy, and the video has already wowed audiences around the world. Kayaker Fabrizio Capizzo was the first to spot a deer, before cautiously approaching help.
He was slowly wandering the river, in front of his eyes was a defenseless deer the entire time, struggling with the raging river to the best of his ability.
