Pink has always had the power to please Emilio. When he sees the strong color, he can’t help but smile. He learned about the positive effects of this color when he had to deal with his difficult medical issues. He finds that pink gives him a mental boost and a sense of calm.
2018 was a happy year for Emilio. He finally closed on his dream home in the small town of Pflugerville, Texas. When Emilio bought the house, his friends and family members knew exactly what he was thinking. They begged Emilio not to paint the house his favorite color. Emilio decided to follow his heart instead.
After days of searching for the perfect shade of pink, Emilio landed on Pepto-Bismol-pink. He covered every inch of his home’s exterior with this color. Emilio was looking for a “wet slime” look.
The choice of color was inspired by Emilio’s tattoo. Emilio doesn’t think the pink house is enough. He plans to add a walkway with pink tiles and a garland of pink lights in the yard. He also wants to paint his wheelchair pink.
Many of Emilio’s neighbors are unhappy with the color choice.
