Paul Phillips now owns the home that many men would love to own. Paul went the extra mile to ensure he would be able to hunt whenever he wanted. He built a trapdoor in the living room floor that opens to the pond, as Wide Open Spaces reports here.
Paul built his house this way because he loves to fish every day and now he can fish from all three sides of his porch, as well as the hatch.
Paul bought the land first. Then he hired an excavator so he could dig the pond. When that was done, he hired a reputable contractor to build his dream home. Her home measures 1,850 square feet and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Paul said his neighbors love the idea of a fishing hole in the middle of his house. He said his neighbor also liked to fish and liked to hear the frogs croaking in the spring.
Paul also mentioned that he will be living in his house for a bit until he is ready to move on. He will then buy a bigger house on a bigger pond. This way, the fish he catches will be bigger!
