As reported by WDAF-TV, Colette decided to install a security camera to monitor the opal in her home in Independence, Missouri.
Colette knew it would be a good way to stay in close contact with her mother so she could trust that she was doing well in her daily routine.

After some time observing the system, Collette noticed that one of the sanitation workers in the neighborhood was still interacting with her mother.
At first glance, Colette simply thought the garbage collector was friendly.
However, upon closer examination, Collette realized that this particular worker was beyond the call of duty to treat her mother with such kindness and respect.

It’s easy to see why Colette is touched by this worker’s kindness to her fragile mother.
In fact, she was so touched by the interactions that she told WDAF-TV she really wanted to cry. She was determined to get to know the kind worker so she could thank him for his service.

The interaction was a learning experience for Colette as she realized that these workers often go unnoticed. However, we don’t think she’ll ever forget about this sanitation factor.
