Unfortunately, Elephant Karma spent the first 46 years of his life in captivity. It was used by people to carry heavy loads and was often given as a prop to beg for money on the streets of India. But it won’t always be this way. Better late than never, you will taste freedom.

Wildlife SOS steps in to rescue and release Karma, and in the video below you can see her exiting the trailer for this freedom. She is blind and will undergo a full medical examination and treatment and will live her days in this elephant hospital. Watch as she tries to make her way step by step through this new life.
