Dietmar and Nellia Ehrentraut have made an incredible impact in the world of boogie-woogie dancing. Despite having children at a young age, the couple decided to pursue dancing and began taking classes in Munich, a city known for its love of dance during the 1970s. Within a few years, they both won awards in Europe and placed second in the boogie-woogie international rankings in the mid-1990s.
One of their most memorable moments was at the 2002 European Championships in Lyon, France, where they placed fifth in front of a large audience who gave them a standing ovation that lasted for five to six minutes. This experience left a lasting impression on the couple, and they continue to dance to this day.
Dietmar and Nellia still train twice a week and regularly upload videos of their dancing performances to their YouTube channel. They clearly love dancing together and use it to strengthen their relationship, as Nellia explained in a 2020 interview. Although they no longer compete in tournaments, their YouTube channel serves as a reminder of their incredible talent and legacy in the world of boogie-woogie
