Despite the firefighters yelling at him to stop, Jose Guzman rushed to his burning house with little hesitation in an attempt to rescue the family dog and his best friend. Fortunately, the family wasn’t home when the house caught fire, but Jose ran when he found him.
The following moments were tense for everyone. The seconds seemed like minutes as they waited for the man to return safe and sound – and he did. He saw his dog hiding under the toilet and quickly escorted him out of the house!
Jose Guzman credits the adrenaline and love for saving her. While firefighters strongly urge untrained people not to get caught in the fires, there was a happy ending for all involved here. Despite the loss of the physical elements, this family still has what matters most: each other.
