A wild zebra near Tsavo East National Park in Kenya made its way into the local community and settled down for some time. She was able to stay there safely until someone could contact the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust so they could move her to a conservation area.

The zebra has been moved to a safe place where rescuers can watch it and make sure it has settled down without a problem. It ended well, so everyone continued …

But it didn’t take long for some people who knew a zebra to see her again with a small child. And they realized there was something different about a child.

It turns out that the zebra finally got pregnant with one of the village donkeys, and she gave birth to “Zunki”. He seems to be doing well and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust thinks he should continue to lead a completely normal life.

Baby is so rare and so cute, he turns heads everywhere he goes! And it’s easy to see why.
