It was then that she found a newborn, swaddled in a man’s shirt, with a note that sent shivers down her spine.
According to Metro News, the heartbreaking message read, “He was alone in the bathroom. His dad tried to kill us.” “Please keep him a secret and take him to the hospital. His father is a very dangerous man.”
The memo also included the time and date of the child’s birth, which was at 5:45 p.m. on July 19, 2019. The child was found the next day at age 20.
The woman who found the baby quickly took him to the nearest hospital. Despite the boy’s unimaginable start in life, he was miraculously healthy. The child is currently awaiting adoption. Unfortunately, the fate of the child’s mother is currently unknown. Curiously, an almost identical experience happened at the same apartment complex in 2017, the New York Post reported.
Some locals suspect that the two abandoned children may be the product of the same mother. However, only time and DNA testing will tell if this is the case.
