Judas was born paralyzed with damaged vocal cords and airways. Thus, the vocal cords do not vibrate during speech, making the child unable to speak.
In March of this year, Gouda visited specialists with her parents and sisters, in order to get acquainted with her voice.
With a special device that vibrates and thus encourages our vocal cords to speak, the boy heard some of his first words for the first time in his life. Her reaction was so warm that you just had to watch the music video.
Little by little, Judas is getting used to using her “voice mail” or “bell”! Her kindergarten classmates encourage her to use her – which helps!
